This premier gathering convenes global leaders, scholars, innovators, policymakers, cultural influencers, and community stakeholders to examine and strengthen the evolving interconnectedness among Africa, its global diaspora, and the international community. 

The Global Africa Symposium is anchored in the historical continuum spanning the Pan‑African movement, the  African Renaissance, and today’s Global Africa framework. It seeks to illuminate Africa’s expanding influence in: 

• Global trade and economic transformation 
• Innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship 
• Cultural and creative industries 
• Diplomacy and geopolitical engagement 
• Sustainable development and climate resilience 

The symposium also honors the indispensable contributions of the African diaspora, whose leadership, creativity,  and resilience continue to shape global progress and shared prosperity. Echoing the timeless words of Bob  Marley, the gathering stands as a clarion call for unity: “How good and how pleasant it would be … to see the  unification of all Africans.” 

This year’s symposium holds special significance, as it commemorates Africa Day, the founding of the  Organization of African Unity (OAU) on May 25, 1963. The event will celebrate the enduring spirit of unity,  resilience, and collective purpose that continues to guide Africa’s engagement with the world. The observance will highlight the shared responsibility of nations and communities to advance inclusive growth, foster innovation,  and promote sustainable development across continents.

As a follower of the Rastafari Movement, Mr. Rohan draws inspiration from its universality, majestic aesthetics,  livity, and openness. Guided by the principles of self‑actualization, unity, and purpose, he lives by the philosophy: “It’s not who you are but how you are.”

This belief forms the foundation of his life’s work, encouraging individuals to align their sense of self with how they  show up in the world and the communities they serve.
